In 2004 - 2005 our club co-sponsored an eye hospital in Calcutta, India. The club contributed USD 5,000 and completed the project with a matching grant from D5580. The total cost of the project was USD 28,500. The hospital is now operational, and proudly bears the name of Rotary: The Rotary Community Retina Service Clinic.
