Album Name: Border Cats Baseball Game Return to Albums
Album Date: Aug 4, 2010
Description: Our regular weekly meeting was held on a very rainy day at Port Arthur Stadium where we could have all we could eat and take in a game
(click an image to enlarge and start a slide show)
First the field had to be covered while the lighting and rain put on quite the display. When the game finally started, an hour and a half late it had been worth the wait. Robert, Bonnie, Chris and Walter had good seats, but Craig's was even better. Sharon, Peter and Solade take their baseball seriously. Bert and Ross check out the action down the third base line. After the third inning, Bert, Solade and John, the three most atheletic members of the Fort William Rotary (so said the announcer) tried their hand at throwing a tennis ball through a small hole in a piece of wood. None were successful, but they all got tee shirts for their sportsmanship.
